Any chance we could get some instructions on how to get logcats for you guys? I've tried alogcat and catlog but don't seem to be getting anything. Are there certain settings that need to be set?

What's a logcat? Some kinda experiment where felines are spliced with plant-life?

@bg Its an app where a cat logs all the events inside your phone... But you ahve to have a cat that is capable of using touchscreen
@dilz whats the problem?ididntunderstand yuor. Broblem.
I can say that you need busybox or root installed.

@dilz699 - here are some instructions:
1. Install the app called Catlog. Yes, you will receive a fast-swyping cat in the mail a few days later. Allow it unlimited access to your phone.
2. If you want to report a repeatable bug, open Catlog first. Logging in Android is copious, so first clear the log with the X in the upper right hand corner.
3. Then go play a Trese Brothers game. You may see our special logging in the Catlog. Ignore any bad words.
4. After hitting the problem, return to Catlog and use the menu to Save and then Send the log. Fire the log off to atrese@gmail or cory.trese@gmail.com
Hope that makes it easy!

Ok, that's what I thought the process was. There must be a problem with my super user permissions or something. I'm rooted but it's not popping up the permission request when I start either of the apps. When I open catlog it just gives me a blank log page with the 'working' circle at the top. I'll have to check into it further. Thanks.

CatLog should not require super user permissions. I only have root on one of my devices but CatLog and DDMS work on all of them, without any special modifications.

BUSYBOX not root,busybox came installed with my phone when i got it,but root works too.
(im not completely sure it needs it i readed it from web and i readed "used for apk,logcat,catlog,backup,appkiller....)
and when i use the reporting i use my catlogs search function and write "storyteller" and then it shows the log,then i save

Damn... a walking cat-tree would be so much cooler. But it sounds like a great tool for tracking bugs. I'll go look for it.

Ok found it. it was just easier to do a copy & paste, so here is the instructions. Hope this helps. I start CatLog every time I get ready to play CK. It's simply to use. 1) Start program ( I wait until the screen stops scrolling ) 2) Click on Box Icon on your phone (far left icon) 3) this brings up 6 buttons, you want Record (bottom row in the middle) 4) Now you"ll see a Catlog icon at the top of your screen, you can go back to the main home page, press the up arrow. 5) Start CK and play as usual, when your done playing exit the game. 6) press the CatLog Icon again and the screen comes back 7) Press the Box Icon again 8) you get the same 6 buttons & you still want the bottom row, middle button. I now reads Stop Recording. 9) Now press Send ( bottom row, far left ) 10) you can now save as an attachment. 11) Now it's just a standard email. Give Cory as much info about what you had been doing as possible. That's a basic guide on how-to use CatLog for any body that wants to try it.
