I'd like it if you could find a puppy, where the cybernetics has gone wrong. You will need to find a competant vet, drugs, and experiemntal cybernetic implants. You get a loyal friend out of this.

I'd love to write some of these. Here's one off the top of my head...
Runner needs antidote to neurotoxin
"Hoi chummer, one of my best knights is in the drek. Went for some black market cyberware and got shot up with an experimental neurotoxin. Turns out a corp scientist is moonlighting as a street doc and using his clients as guinea pigs. Help my buddy out and I'll make it worth your while. What happens to the doc's up to you." - Visit sick knight in [safehouse] and hear story, learn clinic he went to and pick up trail. Learn docs identity.
- Optional: hack [corp] for doc's corp identity, learn place of work.
- Visit [clinic] and ask for under the counter wares.
- Directed to [slum] to meet street doc, posing as customer.
- Eliminate doc's bodyguards and take him hostage.
- Escort doc to corp building. If workplace discovered from optional objective take doc straight there. If not, doc leads you into ambush first.
- Visit [corp building] for antidote. Execute doc (obtain fingers)?
- Return to knight with antidote.
+ Rep with faction fixer - Rep with corp 5000 nuyen Cyberware component from knight (if you provide him with doc's fingers) Discount card for cyberware install (if you spare the doc)
This sort of thing what you're looking for? If so, I can stick in a google doc instead of spamming the forum. Questions:- - I'll have some time to work on these after Christmas, will that be too late? - Would it be possible to dump a list of buildings and their districts into a google spreadsheet? I'm travelling and will have to type these on my tablet. Having all the locations in one place outside of the game will make the writing easier. - Is there a character limit on initial fixer dialogue? - Can quest solutions differ to apply to different runner types? ie. hack drone controls and drive out / shoot your way in and steal. - Will you guys end up with a lawsuit if I further plagiarize Neuromancer? |

@smuunky - awesome suggestion! To answer some of your questions:
1) any time is good -- after Christmas or next summer. We are just looking to crowd-source your sweet story ideas into the game.
2) Don't worry about the building names--maybe just use a descriptive as you have done, such as [clinic] and [safehouse]. Most likely these will get randomized or changed by us, so its not worth your time sweating the exact building / location.
3) There is no hard character limit on the dialog, but don't write us too much, as we will have to re-write / skinny it down anyway.
4) different question solutions per Knight -- yes!
5) let's try to avoid plagiarization -- such as, don't pull dialog from the book please.

Ok, so I've come up with a couple more ideas. They need more work, in terms of an actual quest line and ideally a little more dialogue further down that line. I've put them in a google doc and will continue to flesh out - still not sure how far to go before I start over doing it and moving things away from the realms of the possible.
Should I make the google doc public on the forum or PM it to someone?
Anyway, here's another two ideas.
"Word is you're the knight for this job. I've been hearing rumours on the 'trix about [corp] developing this new icebreaker, real bleeding edge stuff. Could be worth serious creds on the open market. I need you to steal it and test it. If the rumours are true, you'll be in for a cut."
"Been keeping up with Zone Stories lately chummer? Nah, you don't look the type to watch the trids. Well, Paula Plutonium's hot drek right now but not for long.When she gets written out next season, her corp insurance gets written off. She needs to stage a little kidnapping while they'll still pay out. That's where you come in."

Listen up knight. One of our couriers caught too much heat on [gang] turf and lost his head... literally. This guy had some serious metal and the gangers can't crack it. They've got the head on ice, waiting for a buyer. Get it back, fast.
