I'm currently playing a team known as the "Holy Rollers". The purpose is to showcase Kyera as a damage caster. Here is a sneak peak. Currently in the City of the dead. Once finished with the Heart of Ember tower I will do a full write up on what worked, what didn't, and the usual leveling checklists for each character. Holy Retribution(10) is a heavy hitter at 61-190 Holy Damage, gear and buffs pump accuracy, good for everyday use or those undead special occasions. Here you can see Banishment can hit up to 16 targets in a huge 25 square cloud for 83-216 Holy, 2% Critical. With all her gear and buffs take a look at that accuracy!

Wooooooowwww.
Holy crap man! That is some damage! ... plus you can add a lot for every CoD's Holy weakness. Do you just slice them down?

When I was playing a lot last year before episode 3 existed at the end I was experimenting with cheats allowing me to start nightmare games at level 20, and my experience at that time was that banishment was excellent all game long but holy retribution was a pretty poor use of AP and SP compared to other skills. (for reference if i remember right the hardest part of episode 1 with +20 levels was the solo troll in the cave since he could 1-2 shot anyone except the warrior with maxxed stoneskin).

I am absolutely loving it. The monsters HP is getting pretty high so one shot doesn't usually get the job done, but two shots things start disintegrating. Every once in awhile she gets a critical hit ohh yaah baby! Skeletal Archers are very accurate this really helps because the cloud covers a large area. Setting it up with Flash Freeze(10) drops Dodge by 12 in a 5x5 cloud which increases her chance to hit and do more damage. However packing on all the accuracy equipment, she can hit without extra aid. Banishment has my favorite special effects. The sound it makes and the white carpet bombing effect are awesome, major cool factor 10 out of 10, thanks P.S. Thanks for lowering the 102 SP cost in the last release.

But wait there's more... Can Kyera really get the job done as a caster? How about this: Level after level I resisted the urge to use my Incantation of the Righteous scroll that adds +50 Holy damage. Just waiting for payback at the final showdown in the Tower of Ember. I also used the Tomb of Wrath which gave the whole team +4 accuracy and +24 damage. Added a +50 fire damage scroll for anti-ghoul. Then added Tomb of Blazing speed for an extra +2 MP. Slapped on multiple tombs and incantations of sustainment and it was finally time to bring the Seer Lords down!

John Robinson you didn't mention it so I'm assuming you haven't done it. You've got to go do the fang quest with this group and make sure that the Holy Rollers roll the holy one at the end. That Kyera is going to love her new accessory.

John Robinson - jaw dropping, and contributor is right. I consider this case closed - Kyera can clearly be a killer spell caster!

But since the holy one saved the human race at the shattering my conscience drove me to give it back to her. On the next team I may listen to Balgair's advice about the pros and cons of a rigid moral code. Over a mug at the Drunken Squid he said, "After all what can you give a God that has everything? Aren't the Volpa enough?"

I say, once a beast has turned it's hand on its master (let's not pretend the gods don't feed off of the sacrifices poured out on their altars) it must be put down, even if, at one point, it was a faithful servant of its master. At least that's what I tell myself to sleep better as I churn through the CoD with the Heartbeats.
