Thankful for the privacy of the woodland, you gleefully dash after the diminutive chipmunks. In your loud, blind dash, a sleeping boar is aroused at your 8. The boar hasn't eaten in twelve hours, and his happy slumber is far from his mind as he begins his stalk. You're in danger. Oblivious you chuckle at the seeming cowardice of the small creatures you ran off. You spot a discarded milk jug off to your right, as you catch your breath. A noise is heard somewhere behind you. Should you, A. Peer about and investigate the source of the noise? B. Attempt to climb a nearby tree to plot out your next destination? If you choose A, you'll either notice a boar closing in on your position, or you'll be struck as you look, by the high velocity pig. If you choose B, you'll either make it up into the tree and survey a portion of the forest, or you'll fruitlessly jump about the tree, making no progess on climbing it. Sorry for the sock. Just trying to test this out. I thought we were using too much typing input? Or did I misunderstand?

We kinda are. I wouldn't want it to be over simplified though.
You see a broke down car outside. Should you A, go outside and kick it, or B, go back to your couch and eat peanuts. If A, you might impress a bystander, or you break your toe. If B, you channel surf happily, or you choke on a peanut.
The above is spontaneous, but I dont see it working. I dont know.

I flipped for B. Tails.
Coin flipped, again tails. *chokes loudly and alarmed) As somebody stated that heads is the better one, my Character can either die or the Sound of choking air attracts your housemate and he tries to save you...
Note: 2 Flips, one for the check iif you die and another one for the check if the housemate can save you or not.
(Just realized that qb's setup had 2 flips, too. Should get another paracetamol fort head and then some sleep...

Cg, maybe you should start the thread for the game. It might fail, or succeed, but we'll never know if we don't try.

It might fail, or succeed, but we'll never know if we don't I've been looking to see if there is a way that I can at least "automate" part of the process, using BBCode. Fallen said that you are not allowed to use embedded Java Script on the forum, because it's a recognised hacking ploy, so the only option is BBCode. What WOULD be nice, would be a format, that allows other players, (especially new members), to follow the path already laid by others. Kinda, what's already been typed as a story, can be recycled, by each new user.

Cool, starting to sound a lot different than the torp thread.

Cg - I was sent a PM that had a link to the plugin. I looked at it, but don't understand why we would add dicing plugins to our forum. I haven't read this thread, so perhaps someone can explain and do more than send a bare link
