First off, great game. A few things I would like to see though. -Explanation of ship stats. This has been mentioned in the forum before. What does keel effect? How do increased masts effect my ship? Etc, etc.... -What is the crew rating? Its alluded to in game but never shown or any other explanation given. -Explanation of boarding upgrades. Not the actual math but do some upgrades help repel boarders? Are some more effective on the initial attack vs sustained action? -Ability to trade undemanded goods for pennies on the dollar. I've found myself stuck with spices and silk with no way to offload them when I wanted to take advantage of a set of surplus/shortage rumors. -This goes to my personal play style of using long guns then boarding, rarely using broadsides; an upgrade that reduces cannons by x and increases cargo capacity by y. -Ability to effect city economies. I.e. cities I routinely trade with have increased goods available and/or cheaper prices. Main example here would be the East Acadian ports in Ruseland waters like Almazan. -Ways to increase rep with the trading companies and Buccanners. Trading companies rarely offer commissions and once you get negative with the Buccanners you're screwed with them.
Sure I can think of other things later on. This game to me is fun already but there is so much untapped potential in my eyes. Trese Brothers, keep up the good work.

Robb - thanks for the post! I have added #AOP-2988 to track these requests for improved information. -Ability to trade undemanded goods for pennies on the dollar. I've found myself stuck with spices and silk with no way to offload them when I wanted to take advantage of a set of surplus/shortage rumors. I have added #AOP-2989 for this specific request. My Captain has had similar situations! -This goes to my personal play style of using long guns then boarding, rarely using broadsides; an upgrade that reduces cannons by x and increases cargo capacity by y. -Ability to effect city economies. Thanks Fallen. I'm really enjoying the game. Should have picked it up a long time ago.

I think the best best for offloading cargo is to dump it on a beach.
