Has anyone ever tried to make a strength based Kincaid or selen with two 3ap swords? Maybe a 2 and a 3?

Are there 1H 3AP swords? That would be one insane hit (or miss!).

I think I recall at least one. May be. Check the Riven Field stores.

contributor yup, they're decent, but I've never really used them. That being said, at one point I wanted to do a Ferocity builds with Vraes using a 2 AP in his primary and a 3 AP in his secondary, so he gets one 5 AP swing and one at 2 AP. Ridiculousness.

Or even more ridiculous- use crit Vraes with all that sword action. Crit + Ferocity = Derpage

Why would you need Dex? From the Combat Mechanics thread: Only one attack roll is made for the dual attack. The weapon accuracy which is used as the strong dice for the attack is taken from the higher of the two blades. The attribute that is used (Strength or Dexterity) for the attack is the attribute used by the weapon in the primary equipment slot. Therefore, either the entire attack hits or the entire attack misses. No Dex needed Just slap him with the biggest baddest blades you can find and go nuts.

Selen as primary tank? O.o

I'm doing it. I went Ferocity 4, BR 6, BoS 1 for Vraes. Right now he does ~50-~200 damage. Selen went PB 2 to attack with full curse KJ's Ash 5, DoS 3, and QsD 5. If the group works out, I'll do a proper write-up, but it looks promising so far

And I seems to have my nagging issue suddenly resolved. So much for a month of brain cracking. x.x Going to sleep. Good luck with your party! And I eagerly awaiting your write-up!

Yup, Vraes just crit for 338. Dual wielding two Felchas from Riven Field. New favorite build?

Selen as primary tank? O.o Selen is always on the front line for me. (Usually side by side with Vraes.) She has lower hit points but I boost her parry, dodge and dexterity and she just slices through opposition without taking too many hits... doesn't really matter she has the lowest hit points in my squad, she doesn't get hit much. In a fight with no healing (but allowing sp to be refilled) my Selen could take out my Vraes. Without refilling SP Vraes would probably be better because Selen doesn't do much damage with a regular slash. I wish I had started with Kincaid instead of Vraes. He seems more "Selen-like" of the two. Next play through I'll have Kincaid (and I can't imagine playing the game without Selen now).

this is a critical fact of dual wielding for all characters who can do it. One of the most important combat rules in the game for Selen.
