sheff most definitely With the onslaught of the nyktos endless stream of worLtd killers. We have already installed basic ones on most colonies, but Templar Command wants better orbital ones that do not impact planet quality so we can provide good defense to smaller systems

Excellent.
How would the council feel about researching a higher tier mok research? Upgrading the existing orbital trade stations would give us increased income for a larger fleet. It seems like we're in a good place as far as military tech goes. I believe we have access to both the Mesa Hawk and the Warbarge. Upgrading our ability to lay waste to the Xeno worlds would also be a good long term choice.

As long as our front lines are secured and we are holding our own, I have no objection to researching a higher Mok tier. Perhaps our Star Forge tech could get an upgrade as well?

A thing to think about here for clan Mok, sheff the next level of Mok Tech unlocks a political treaty 80% for long duration trade routes. 8 turns to research. It will take another 15 turns to get to Mok 3 which unlocks orbital tradeways 2 for 15 turns for a total of 27 turns. So there't that information for everyone to negotiate over.

Design Question: does the council want torpedo fighters designed and built? or stick with cruisers for torpedoes?

Commander CdrPlatypus- perhaps we could deploy one or two per front to act as screens for our systems closest to the Xeno menace. Keep them in green space for refueling, and just have them supplement our sturdier Cruisers. They may have lower fuel reserves, but their 4 MP reactors ensure their continued presence on the battlefield. We of the Alta Mesa Clan stand resolved, united with our Zenrin brethren in bloodshed. We will continue to fight the good fight, as our Star Forges burn brightly in the cold night. Warship after Warship is sent from atmosphere, each filled with the finest captains, soldiers, and engineers our civilizations can muster, and their presence shall not be forgotten quickly, by the Xeno that fall to us, or the men and women fighting alongside them in the darkness of the void. We fight on, not for glory, but out of necessity. The millions lost at the hand of the Nyktos filth will be avenged a thousand times over, each of their names added to the catalog of our struggle here. Stories of the valor displayed that fateful week will echo throughout our collective minds until we ourselves fade from life. May Shalun himself bless our beloved men and women who fight bravely above our heads.

Design Question: does the council want torpedo fighters designed and built? or stick with cruisers for torpedoes? Diversity in fleet dynamics is always a good thing. One or two torp fighters wont be a waste.

Maybe use torpedo fighters for scouting or light cruiser duty?

**PRIORITY TRANSMISSION** After Action Report
Both the nyktos and sidtax have backed off giving us a little bit of breathing room.
The engineering dept wants to take this time to discuss the successes and failures of our ship designs.
The tank was a resounding success. One possible modification would be to switch heavy barrage with percision...but it is a hard choice
The rearick torpedo system was ok. It's damage output was somewhat underwhelming. We are looking forward to later research to allow us to retool it with more bang.
The Raptor s bagged the most kills. They occasionally had accuracy problems against nyktos world killers. We are thinking of updating them with titan crews and trading repair systems for more gun decks.
The Aurelius support carrier was an amazing and crucial piece of the fleet. We beleive it is worth it to maintain one per each defensive and offensive fleet at all times.
We do not have enough experience with the bulldozers yet to make aNY adjustments we need to gather more data by crushing xeno colonies
We had an assult fighter that was not posted to the thread...useful when it hit, but had accuracy issues so the engineers are going to do a redesign before sharing.
Now a question for the faction council do we regroup and wait for another attack yo then counter attack or do we press the attack against the Xenos and continue the war?

I say we press the attack against the Nyktos. We can use torpedo fighter to great effect in the planetary cluster that we need to take back from them.

Somewhere in space,
Ntsheep looked at the latest report,
“Well Sir, everything appears to be going well. The Xenos have backed off for the moment. The ships have all performed good. Just a few minor upgrades are needed.”
“What did they say about ours?” ntsheep asked.
“Well,,,” he replied slowly.
“Well what?” ntsheep demanded.
“We did ok, there's not enough data command thinks.”
“NOT ENOUGH DATA!” he yelled, “we've got data coming out our rears!” he stood up, turned around, and on his pants was the word data.
“Maybe we should up the dose of the combat stim spice sir. I know that would mean overdose levels but,”
ntsheep interrupted himself,
“No, I cut that blue spice down a bit. I told the Templar that with blue spice if the effects last longer than 4 turns, we would need a doctors med bay installed.”
“Cut it? With what?”
“The most devious combat drug known to man, xeno, and sheep. SweeTarts!”
“Oh crap!”

Agree with @rearick here. The Hawk Class will be invaluable in such close quarters, and with refuel support, they will overwhelm the enemy. Drive the Nyktos back, make them pay for their insolence.

**PRIORITY TRANSMISSION** Even with war upon us we must continue to expand and rebuild the once great empire of humanity. It is time for another wave of colonization.
Available Systems: Afcrone (Prime Zone) Quality 7-25 / Minerals 2-18
Haley (Prime Zone) Quality 5-17 / Minerals 5-17
South West Corridor: Unionized Quixann Quality 4-18 / Minerals 2-28
Illgard Complex Quality 3-17 / Minerals 5-19
New Titan Quality 4-18 / Minerals 5-15
Templar Command asks that the Faction council negotiate amongst themselves for system rights and come back to the High Templar with requests for shiny system deed documents with his official seal.

I'd like in to this if there's still room and you don't mind someone who checks out from time-to-time due to competing demands. I'm open to any clan.
