Games workshop has a lomg history of suing people for anything they view as copyright infringement. Be very careful if you release a full version of templar assault. If you try to charge people for it, they WILL come after you, guaranteed. Its too much like space hulk for them not to. I love your games, and Id hate to see that happen. Juat giving you a heads up.

In my opinion, TA is inspired to Space Hulk,ok,but it's within ST universe...i dont see the problem,crucius...ehi,the aliens are not black,in fact(=P)...

Heck, crucius here might be an employee from GW.  But I do agree with him on certain levels. Inspiration alone could get you a hefty lawsuit. Just look at Apple vs. Google. However, by the looks of it, the FULL version of TA should be VERY different from Space Hulk since GW did not get OUR feedback. ;D |

I better explain...If i'm a trese bros games fan,if i'm a space hulk fan,it's no useful to tell these things as my first post,in this manner...but,really,i want accuse nobody,especially crucius...its only that for me this post smells...boh...

I doubt he is a spy,I have also heard horror stories of the zealotry of GW but they are just rumors. I just assume Trese bros. know what they are doing.

Like I said, wouldn't be surprised, since TA did appear in BoardGameGeeks as a Space-Hulk variant on Android.
That forum regularly receives sponsorships and merchandises from GW, WOTC, FF and many other tabletop game publishers. The least they could do, other than advertising them, is to inform the publishers of possible copyright infringements.
We'll see what else crucius has to say after his 1st post here. ;D

Any time you create a game people will tell you that so and so will come after you for such and such.
It is very common for people to assume an overly board definition of copyright laws and jump to ill advised conclusions.
If the original post was made with good intentions then I thank you for your concern.
At this point I am locking this thread as it won't do anyone any good to speculate on irrelevant CONCEPTUAL similarities.
