I will unscramble them again and make an updated pic for any poor soul casual player that happen to want to try to decipher ST2! This action would also help alleviate the suffering of many poor kittens! (granted this last point is an unproven theory) Also the hover is fine but even better is the long press (or similar) for those of us in the handicapped android crowd.

Yes, when I say "hover" these days I really mean "hover + whatever mobile thing triggers a hover like display"
Calling it hover is just habit, I fully acknowledge and agree that we MUST have a mobile solution.
Hey, and once this lazy engineering team comes up with a fix we can deploy that to Battleforce and Heroes for great justice.

Thank you saltin for the key to the icons. Now, when you land on a planet, I see: St Elmos Refuge: Mining(3) De Valtos 6 Econ 3 Starport 6 Military 5 Gov 3 Spice 4 Law 4 Population ------ For the benefit of people trying to learn the game, it is better if the order in the list is the same as the order of the icons, so: Law, Starport, Military, Spy, Spice, Economy, Population. Hmmm. Spy == Gov ?? It would be of even greater benefit if there was a little icon on each line in the list.

100% agree on both.
1. Order must be consistent at all times. 2. If we use an icon, use it consistently.
Right now those properties are really important but badly displayed.
We are working on it. It also needs context, explanation of what the ratings are.
"Captain, this Zone has only a Starport IV, barely enough for us to even buy fuel. We won't be able to repair!"

I legitimately feel guilty sometimes that this group of people actually paid us to participate.
The irony is that a lot of game companies would kill to have people this talented and helpful on payroll.
It is literally ridiculous just how lucky we are to have this crew of players. Just stunning.

I showed up here in 2011 with the idea that I would report a bug I had, out of my overarching sense of duty. If you don't know about the bugs, then you cannot fix them. And I have been here ever since. You and fallen are amazingly special developers. The sort we all wish all developers were. Don't feel guilty! I've never found it helps _at all_ with the creative process.

So basically, you came to report one bug ... learned about how many bugs we really had, and have been busy trying to report them all ever since?

Well, hey, it has been working. There is something really amazing about reporting a bug, and then seeing it fixed, as opposed to seeing it ignored ....

Welp, the game is still fun even at this early stage, and after the copies of the game thing it's only $20 (excluding other rewards) It's a pretty cool thing when you make a suggestion and then you see it appear in-game!

Hey, I'm only here because like Mama Badger, I came to report a bug, then stayed for the awesome community and devs! Then I tried games other than Star Traders, and I was sold! So when the 4X and TB alphas rolled around, I wanted to help out. And backing ST2 was a no brainier, even if you teased us with the fun stuff for 2 years

Maybe use pips instead of a colored in bar, so people could see the exact level at a glance?

There is an infinite amount of bad games @google_store, often completly drowning the decent ones.So imo it's worth supporting the few devs that do a good job less they end up in the endangered species list! Oh noo..not the dinosaurs fate! grävling yes I am starting to equate [Government] with [Spy] , 🕵🕴NSA anyone? Pic fixed now. bookworm21 that's great! new explorers everywhere are thankfull 👍
