So I lift off a planet and get this strange message: Hmmm. No crew in the mutiny. No crew there. Let's make a zip of all these files from before I do anything, so that Cory Trese and fallen can get a look at the game. It's at: www2.openend.se/~lac/ST2.29/mutiny.zip and does indeed start right at the point where the mutiny happened. Ok let us fight then. (no fighting happened, just moved to that screen.) But looking at the crew, indeed, they all seem to have 85 rep or so. Nobody with a lot more and nobody with a lot less. And this is very odd. I didn't have bad morale problems going into the world I just left, and, I believe in spicing my people pretty hard. Every time we have a battle, every time we see a Xeno, I'm off to the spice house to repair morale. Why am I having a morale problem? Rychart captains have to spend enough time on Rychart planets that keeping everybody spiced is rarely a problem. So let's go back down to Magiki, repair morale, and investigate. A good spice house then. We should be fine. Spice up everyone! And we did. Until nobody needed any more. So every crew member should be sitting with a morale of 150 or their max morale, whichever is smaller? Nope, the spice house lies, and everybody gets up to 85 max. You can load up the zip I made -- again, I zipped too much because fallen's answer that I only need to zip the files dir arrived after I already did this -- land and watch this happen for yourselves.

Mutiny has multiple states, but only occurs when average morale drops low enough.
We've got to check traits. We've got check every crew for recruit source.
Once I get a look at the file, I can try to figure it out.
Mutiny is an undertested system.

By the way, you want Captain Vega the Rychart Hard Pirate in the archives. Should be the captain with the largest number.

I think the spice halls always max out at 80 Morale at which point you cannot give crew additional hits. If at least one is below the threshold though, I think other crew can get morale higher than 80 during those visits. It's been my assumption that that's just how it works (to prevent addiction), but never really gave it much thought or testing...
