[1.0.33] Suspect Character not firing?

Pirate talent — Suspect Character (now renamed Menacing Demeanor)

Is it supposed to fire on every Mission completion (if not on cooldown), or only has a % chance to fire?
Or is it not working here before this is the actual mission completion, not a step in the mission??

Looks like it should fire fine. There would only be an event log about it in 1.0.33 back on the main landed screen. In the next update, it will display here.

Still in 1.0.33

Different case here. Mission text does not mention any loss of Rep (I was actually very surprised about this).
But Log Entry says Suspect Character (Menacing Demeanor) did fire and reduced Rep loss to 1.





So one of these has to be wrong.

By the way, is this Talent able to negate a Rep loss entirely? Or -1 Rep is the best it can do?

Up to Intimidate skill is what is listed.

Ok, it had an issue where it ran even if Rep Loss was 0. Fixed for next!

Okay, then something else is wrong.

My Pirate's Intimidate is 7.
All the Log Entries for this Talent in the past (all 1.0.33) have said reduced Reputation damage to <1 or 2 or 3>. Most non-Home-Faction mission steps typically reduce Rep by 1-4 points. If I'm understanding correctly, then Rep dmg should be reduced to zero in all cases?

Unless by "Up to", you mean a random roll with the max possible being Intimidate Skill?

athios - perhaps your have Intimidate Skill Bonus? Bug here that isn't using it properly. Otherwise, are you a Job Rank 15 Pirate with 7 Intimidate?

Either way, we need to find a way to rebalance this Talent. As you are asking, yes it would be possible to completely mitigate all Rep Dmg.

Yes, it is JR15 Pirate with 7 Intimidate from Job, no bonus.
