1. Just left a planet, fully repaired. 2. Immediately encountered Xeno. Fought. Did not get hit at all. 3. Ship Report says no damage to components. 4. Battle Damage Repair confirms no components damaged >10% (Paladin Cruiser 1500 Hull, 10% threshold = 150 damage). 5. Expert Scavenger repairs 285 Hull damage.
First of all, it's possible the Hull doesn't count as a Component. That's fine, but if this is the case, then (a) the Ship Report should have a separate section for Hull damage (or lack thereof). (b) I've had other battles with no hits taken that also report Hull Points restored when using Expert Scavenger. Only since 1.0.33 though. This was not a clean install. (c) Xeno Rep gain — Who do I gain Rep with? The Zone Faction? The report should specifically state this: "gained XX Reputation with [FACTION NAME]" (d) Xeno Rep gain — this +Rep should activate upon defeating the Xeno, not contingent on me salvaging the Xeno vessel. Sure, there's no reason why I wouldn't salvage it, but newbies may not, and would miss out on the +Rep.

Expert Scavenger now reports the exact Hull restored, including saying "0 Hull Pts repaired".
Xeno are simply not implemented.

I had Expert Scavenger report that it repaired 292 Hull points of damage. But I am pretty sure that I had no damage at all to repair. My ship was in perfect condition before the battle, and I didn't use any destructive talents to damage myself, and the other guy surrendered quickly, since I managed to destroy his hull in round 2 -- and he missed with his only 2 shots. Other people's end-of-battle talents were announcing that they weren't firing because damage to my ship was less than 10%. My ship is in perfect condition, and none of my crew are any more injured then they were before the battle (hard to find a doctor in this part of the world). Their morale is in great shape too. So I think that Expert Scavenger lies, and the 292 points is what it would have been willing to repair if there had been any damage, not what it actually repaired. It's ok that it fired, though, as it made the salvage worth 15% more, it's just that the message needs adjusting.

It hasn't been fixed / released yet, the report title is for the version we're playing. You are right about the message, Fallen has demo'd the new words in the previous post. Or have you spotted something extra?

No, I misinterpreted fallen's note -- I thought that before the hull damage wasn't being reported at all, and now it was. So I wanted to say -- it's being reported, but it is wrong. But no, he wasn't saying that at all ... sorry.

Since you can only scavenge once, I think that this talent option should only show up once, too, even when you have more than one person who has it.

I think the devs have mentioned that same talents may be grouped in next UI update.

Yeah, we're working on it -- a necessary feature on all screens that do this, and there are a lot of them.
