In Discord, Andrew was asking for suggestions for special Captain only traits, to help make the Captain feel cooler and more unique!
Here's my first one: Heroic: In battle, Crew are invigoriated by inspiring and daring leadership. X Crew gain 6 Morale
and one by Blessed:
Tyrant - Domineering personality keeps people in your orbit, 10% + Intimidate chance that crew will not abandon when at critically low Morale.

Spy: Diplomatic Immunity - Refueling rights cannot be denied regardless of negative reputation. (In the real world Consulate diplomats are usually another name for spies)
Merchant: Ambassador - Reduce negative rep up to Negotiation skill when completing a mission against a foreign faction. (Home faction is the one you chose at start of new game; all others are considered foreign factions.)

Bounty Hunter / Zealot: Sixth Sense - Anticipates opponents moves in crew combat, + quickness, + initiative, + 25% evasion
Merchant: Machiavellian - Turns any situation to their advantage, + personal rep when interacting with a contact

I think we will probably stay pretty far away from % scaling Trait bonuses for XP.
This is just going to be supported by setting XP Bonus to like +40% in Custom Difficulty.

There are so many excellent ideas shared across these pages, it is great to be part of the mix. Mind you, my captains need all the help they can get!

Bloody Reputation -- Zealot/BH trait: Adds the captain's level worth of weak dice to every Intimidation roll.
Proven Investment -- Merchant trait: Adds the captain's level worth of weak dice to every Negotiation roll. (Are negotiation rolls so rare that this trait would be underpowered?)
Strategic Reflections -- MO trait: Adds the captain's level worth of weak dice to every Tactics roll.

"Merchant Guild" -- Exchange fees waived for Captain Merchants 5% discount to purchases, 5% profit added to sales

A bit of rewording for the quick trait I made, since it was mostly a copy paste of a existing one for an example.
Zealot : Tyrant - Domineering personality keeps crew members in line and loyal, 10% + Intimidate chance that crew will not abandon when at critically low Morale. -4 Charisma, +2 Resilience, +2 Strength.
Pirate : Plunderous - When looting a merchant or smuggling ship after combat, 5% + Wisdom chance that you can find extra cargo. 5%+intimidate to gain a small amount of intel and 10% better rewards when ransoming.
Pirate : Cutthroat Crew - When recruiting from conscripts from an enemy ship, 10%+Intimidate chance to loses their faction, becomes pirate class, gains average morale. Having Vudka in cargo will allow a critically low morale pirate crew to drink to gain morale back.
I probably just listed 3 op traits.

Thanks for the posts all -- great ideas! Some of these are totally OP, some of them can't be done (adding dice to pools) and others are just killer. Even the OP ones we can tone down into great Traits -- love it.
