I wonder if the next 50 people who download Star Traders RPG realize how significant they are to me.
Thanks again for all your support, energy and constant communication. I feel more connected to my games through you than I do through my own playing of them.
Carry on and download away =)

that's downloads of the free versions. no ads, no sales, no revenue. we didn't make a penny or a shilling or anything. we do it for the love of the game.

separate accounts. Google cut out the multiple devices and update counts a while ago.
We have over a million when they counted it that way.

Only a million?? 400 000 from separate people and a new update two times a week mostly!? That should be more like 50 million.

taatuu25 - the count is individual users who have downloaded the app on one or more devices. If you download 25 updates, it still counts as 1.

Goddamn data hoarders. Would they be happier if PIPA and SOPA takes them out?

As my nick implies, english is not my native language, but I hope you get the grasp.
I downloaded the trial 2 weeks ago and and within hours went for the elite version. What a great surprise to find such a game for android, what a shame there are so few of them amongst tons of social-network fishbrain games on the market. I especially like the fact that captains die easily, but are remembered by a record. That is what makes the concept different, if not unique in the current above mentioned market, and what is my biggest motivation on the long-term.
It's not often you find such a bargain. Come to think of other ways to spend $1.99 (~ €1.60): - mediocre burger - fare for single ticket in public transport - flip two coins to a beggar in need (don't get me wrong, its more about how you are up to give away that money so easily on other occasions) - a ride on a merry-go-round for kids (and who has kids knows, one ride is nowhere near enough by half ;D)
So to cut a long story short: Just recently I read something about the missing donate-button, can't really recall who it was, but he is definitely right! I would have gladly paid twice the price without batting an eye.
Think, I am going to try the other two Trese productions and hope there will be more in the future.

No they cant. Everyone doesnt live in america.. PIPA and SOPA would have far-reaching effects, much farther than you think. Just look at sites like YouTube, Wikipedia, FaceBook, etc. Those kinds of sites would be gone. Luckily, thus far both initiatives have been halted in their tracks. You best pray it stays that way.
