Contacts at Priority B says that the first 3 I pick will be 'local'. 1. Politician local 2. Prospector local 3. Ex-Bounty Hunter local 4. Gestalt Explorer non-local 5. Fixer non-local 6. Intelligence Officer non-local But I get: 1 and 2 local but 3-6 non-local. And I wonder if the problem is that something is counting Arbiter Brokström as one of my 3 local contacts. I didn't ask for her. This is me (so you can get the map seed if that is interesting). Also so I can restart this game at this point if you want to ask me to do something else to investigate the problem.

That's based on the map seed. The new game always attempts to place 3 local Contacts regardless of priority A/B/C/D/E.

Then why does it fail and I only get 2 local contacts? Taking a closer look I see it really doesn't have a lot of Cadar systenss to choose from, and Faen needs one to put his court in. So I can see that the placing algorithm might find this placement difficult. But why then, did it decide to put me in this quadrant, rather than the one over here: where there were plenty of Cadar systems to choose from?

I don't know, pretty lacking on details. Map seed? Faction?

Sorry I missed it. All the huge screenshots with text in between make for a challenging read. Maybe, write all the text at the top and then post screenshots? Not sure how to make it easier.

Aha. I read: tstappedout.proboards.com/thread/2258/resize-images-on-proboardsso by magically changing style="max-width:somenumber%" I can get the images resized smaller. Above is 80%Above is 60%Above is 50%Above is 40%40% looks awfully small to me here, but what counts is what it looks like where you are. What size do you like?

Or you can use absolute values, I see. The above was width=250The above was width=750The above was width=1000

Apparantly there was a way to do this globally www.proboards.com/admin-guide/forum-settings/image-sizes but either our forum does not have this tab, or my forum-Godlike powers do not extend to being allowed to find and or modify it, thus you will have to do it, if you want this changed globally. This would be easier for me, (saves me some typing) but that is not necessarily what is best for everybody else. Changing what the image button spits out to drop the 'http://' filled in part, since I just paste the whole url, which isn't prefaced by http: but https: and stick the width number in would be even better but I have no clue how to change that, or even if it can be done at all.

width=750 is nice for me, but that is just my screensize.
The nice thing is, I can always right click and view the image in another tab to see the full size. I don't need the full size in the forum post, it just makes reading the thread very challenging.
I love increased difficulty but .... ;P

Okay, I have been using width=750 today. If you want something else, just ask.
