Everybody Loves Me! Using a Merchant or Smuggler, acquire and hold a Level 4 trade permit with every faction. Requires you to get a Prince contact with every faction, make certain they have the influence to grant you the permit, have the money for the permit, and then keep that permit while gaining the others. Even a tiny ding on rep can cause you to lose it, after all. If you haven't torn your hair out yet, you will on this one. --Scrod

Lol, yes that one is likely to drive most players up the wall I think for challenges, we're better off shooting for a single, very hard goal that has some specifics about it. The BH one was very successful, engaged a ton of players. Asking someone to do 9 tasks that compete with each other (Rep loss) is a real grinder. @darion_neclador suggested "Trade $200K worth of Narcotic Spice into a Black Market during a Embargo Rumor". This might be too hard / restrictive with the specific Rumor type, but it is more in line with goals that will work well, I think. You have to get a lot of money, make Contacts who have BM on certain worlds, probably stash a ton of Narcotic Spice, then get a really big cargo hold, train a competent Smuggler crew ... etc. You can get there a ton of ways, and have freedom how you cover the ground from start -> goal, but you still have to meet a certain set of hard requirements to get across that finishline in a single push.

Hmm. Yeah, I get you. The Bounty Hunter is climbing a Jacob's ladder. This one is like building a spider web. In a wind storm. I like that Embargo trade there. That's interesting. I'll put more brains on it, and ask folks that wander by the stream for ideas.

I think waiting for an embargo rumor to be in the right place at the right time would be really painful. I kind of like the merchant idea, can it be made a little simpler by requiring level 2 instead of level 4 with all factions? Or a total of 30 across all 9, which is in between?
Alternatively, what would be a scavenger challenge? Pretty much nobody has gotten the achievement Specialty Acquisitions. Maybe there is roundoff error on the steam page, but it shows 0%.

I know contributor and at least one other person has gotten 100% of achievements, so that is at least 2 people that have Specialty Acquisitions. I guess pure scavenger runs aren't very popular?

It might be that you need to work up to Scavenging. You really want six or more ways to manipulate the draw before giving it a shot. And, if you're not prepared for it, a bad Scavenging draw can end your game. Could be that risk/reward balance is just a tad too heavy on the risk side right now. But, I'm not telling y'all anything you don't already know.

Agreed that the Rumor part of @darion's idea is probably too much, but its still that kind "one major goal" that requires you to put a lot of pieces into place that I think will work best.

I just got all three salvage achievements, but TBH I found it a little boring, >200 clicks on the minigame waiting for those elusive rtg drops. startradersrpg.proboards.com/thread/19256/scavenger-guide
