This new ship showed up on Android 2.5.63. Does this mean that android releases are *ahead* of the steam ones? I searched all the forums for the phrase 'gunhawk sabre' and came up empty. So missing from a set of release notes here? And here we have two 'release #162's -- Doomsday Stashers and Goltha Theory -- this is a numbering error? Which one comes second? a 6 officer 10/7/1 m2400 ship with 18 crew -- That android notes say is designed for boarding and close range combat? But by the time you can afford one, you will end up needing to beach at least 6 crew! I'd be interested in knowing how popular this ship is. Preliminary Marketing research in Alpha Red Abyss indicate strong captain resistance to running this lean and mean And seems overpriced, given that you can get a Crimson Defender for (at least with this captain) only 55k more, or a Vengeance for 60k less. Newbie Rychart Captain Grävling, saving my pennies for a Crimson Defender (though I am not sure it will turn out better than the Vengeance I usually buy).

The releases are the same, between Steam and Android.

No worries about the update! I'm happy for the unique craft, but really wish it had a lower price tag! Or there was a way to, Cyberknight style, put a call out to rehire crew you had to leave planetside in the past. They would cost more, and of course there would be a significant chance they weren't interested in fickle old you ...

only bad thing about gunhawk is that you gonna need mass reducress installed and that kinda kills its potential - or so it seems from quick build checkup, thus ill have to run it in more detailed playtrough.

yea i know. imo having to run with adv.mass damp is just equal to not having that slot in firstplace xD mass reducers are a bit better but still kinda hurts having to have one on small ship. (is there even a ship that uses barracks 1?)

(is there even a ship that uses barracks 1?) Numerically, that really isn't the case. Mass reduction components add Skill Pools and in fact, reduce mass. So, simply removing those 2 components would make the ship unflyable. You'd have to remove probably 3 other slots as well, -5 in total.
