Okay, something I don't understand. Im playing as a Cadar Military Officer. Im in my home faction and system, and I encounter a Mok spy. Why am I given the choice to submit to inspection, pay a bribe, or fight. As an MO in my own faction shouldnt i be demanding payment, or inspection of his ship? This just doesnt seem right to me.

Chance sorry you dislike the encounter system. Reputation is earned and not gained. The question is not about your Cadar Rep, but about your action toward Moklumnue. It is on our list to add a Military Officer Talent that demands inspection. As with most abilities, that is a Talent's power.

fallen, im not saying i dont like the encounter system. Im just wondering why my military officer, in my home faction space would pay a bribe to anyone from another faction. Ignoring the spy or closing for battle i can understand, just not bribing him or stopping for him to inspect me. If i was operating in their space, i could understand it, and how my actions would impact my rep with that faction.

Your ship is a Star Trader, not a Faction ship. The Lore book goes into great detail!

Okay Cory Trese. How do i get to the lore book? The link to it on the starting game page says that its an invalid pdf format when i try to open it. We have reported that bug to both Google-Android and Dropbox. Dropbox says that it is a bug in Android. Google says it is a bug in Dropbox. It happens on my phone when I open PDF files all the time. Really annoying, sorry  |
