So does increasing boarding rolls help with being at a useful component to sabotage post boarding victory? Like being able to sabotage engines vs the cargo hold which isn't all that useful ( Although I suppose taking the cargo hold in this example out does allow for less components overall and more likely a critical component is damaged by say electrical fires component damage over time).

Technically taking out a cargo hold lowers ship ops which is one of, but the rarest kind of, the ship defeat conditions

If you do very, very well on the Boarding Roll you can score Bridge, and that's an easy route to victory

Excellent thanks guys. I had been neglecting boarding stat as I was always boarding successfully(im on basic mode atm) but noticed I rarely got anything useful to blow up.
