When do different components stack effects (and if so, how?)
Cargo/fuel/etc
Ship Combat: Armor/Shield (acc'd to formula), mass reduction, etc. Ship: boosters, etc. (but all boosters? even accuracy ones, etc.?)
What about medical? Do multiple medical suites increase the medical rating? Tangent: would something like EVA suites (1 medical rating) enable a doctor to heal crew during combat?)
What about operations. I know salvage bays *don't* stack, but different components that provide related benefits?
e.g. exploring:
Would this ship offer 30% crew damage reduction, 66% fewer crew harmed; 15 fuel capacity; 1 medical rating?
Is there a chance it would only be 25% reduction? Or, like armor/shield, would it have some other formula for calculating the effect?

Yes, total medical rating stacks. You can see the final value in Ship Status.
None of the operations (spy, explorer) components stack.

And that's intentional. It is more balanced / better for the game this way because it encourages complex, economic ship design or simply stacking.

Thank you! I hadn't found a definitive statement about this. Much appreciated :-)
