In the Gus Kahern story, during the first conversation with de Rivesh, he says "Jain De Rivesh lead expeditions" rather than "led".

"Jain De Rivesh led expeditions that discovered more than 14 worlds that ranked above a 60 on the Challestice scale."
What a hero, dialog just packed with lore too.

What I find most intriguing is the "more than 14". It really raises some questions.

MTKnife, the random number generator is cross referenced to the BIOS clock and sub slaved to the IRQ synced to CMOS. It only counts to 13 but can recognize instances of numbers exceeding 13. It will mark a '14' and check if there another after. If >14=true, it prints 'more than 14' BTW, how would you like to own a gently used bridge in NY or perhaps some beach front property in AZ

Wow. More than 14. Maybe there were several explorers that reached exactly 14 worlds, but only he exceeded that level? Super funny now that I look back on it.

The dialog shares some of the quasi-official and contested nature of prospecting planets. The Challestice scale is also an old reference
