picking your squad

So I chose the tutorial squad first to learn the game, but now I feel adventurous and want to pick another squad. I know I only have one other option for free play, but wanted to know what the XP listed when you pick a squad means and the other info in the pic I uploaded means. Thanks

That's the XP and Honor projections for finishing the story campaign they start in.
