Pitfall is one of those games I never owned, and one where I always died in the same place: hopping alligator heads to cross the water. Talking about Atari reminds me that my dad has an Atari 7800 system put up somewhere. Backwards compatible with 2600 games, and better graphics. Bonus points if you know that a Sega Genesis controller will work with the 2600/7800 systems!

Most of the old controllers worked with eachother - atari 2600, c64, but I didn't know the Sega also supported the 9 pin joystick port

I played the very first Wizardry on a very early Apple II.

If my memory is working correct today, Pac Man Atari 2600. My favorite game is Mechwarrior 2, not just for the great game play and story, but the programming break thru of getting past the 640K limit.
