Years before his right eye was knocked out of his head by an Pirate shock-club, Markos’ right arm was ripped off at the shoulder by a daemonic infestation which tried to destroy the engine deck on the Vae Victus. While sometimes, men do not trust those who live on because they are seemingly made of half flesh and half machine, no one questions Markos Greenmarket. It was Markos’ human arm that obliterated the daemon with his Daxian Forge Hammer, and his human eye that squinted into the Pirate face as he shoved his blaster under the creature’s chin.
Markos is a stoic sufferer. His horrible war wounds have left him scarred and much of his body has been replaced by metal. Old cyberware and years of dedicated service have aged him and while he is still deadly, much of his existence is painful.
Grim, stoic, and determined, he is the perfect man to keep the Vae Victus running through the roughest times, as his years of experience as a war fighter, an engineer, and as half-machine have given him a special knack for keeping a boat floating even under immense stress or damage.
