pda update after gateway?

For the first time ever (I usually play sandbox or get bugged) I'm at the story line at downtown gate way. After the security encounter, the pda does not update with kb's next renedevous.
And if course, I forgot. I think he said downtown gateway, but I'm already there?

So. The reason it didn't progress was I escaped the security encounter. I went back, and it started again

baldielocks - yeah, we have an issue with the escape. Sorry! It's in the list already.

Either way (escape or win) walk south toward the actual gateway and he should pop up as long as you have him in your party and tell you what is up.
