Unfortunately, I currently can't afford to help. I would love to financially help out because the Super Trese Bros. deserve it, but funds are stretched super thin right now. That's partly why I haven't picked AoP yet either.
But if it's any consolation, I talk about your games all the time. Even got a friend to actually try the free version. Or at lesst download it. He's really busy anymore, and is both a full-time student and full-time employeed. That would suck in my opinion.
New converts is a good thing, right?

Turdlip will forever be in our current gameplay and ride into history. Who would ever forget our fav officer to be left on the wayside when we need more space for an officer that works with the crew =p

I kinda feel sorry for them, in a way.

So am I! I put in as much money as I could at the time, but now it sucks. At least I was able to see how things were when I helped on the Age of Pirates alpha. Everything was well organized and straight forward. I am really looking forward to this!

Oh man does that picture take me back. I unfortunately was around during the coup- er I mean face-lift. There was probably a good 9-10 months I hadn't been here or playing. Being back this past month has been like playing again for the first time. I'm still not too familiar all the officers. I remember political, mechanic, pilot, military, and I think smuggler or explorer, and that was it. I have yet to see a bodyguard or veteran, and found my first merchant officer last night. Totally off topic, but what is the average amount of luxury goods you guys carry around? When I play MO, no less than 5. Other than that, usually 3 just in case. I don't bother with vudka for first mate, and I really don't know how much of a difference hold bonuses really make. Oh, and just to clarify, the 10% means, for example, with a cargo hold of 70 you would want a 7 of x item in your hold to gain any bonuses? Um, sorry for the garbled mess, I hope it's decipherible. Decipherable? Screw it, i'm going to sleep.

You know, I never carry luxury goods, even as an MO. The only things I've got room in my hold for are WF and Weapons. Sometimes if I'm worried about the WF situation I will start pillaging LG as well just to make it to the next planet without my crew going stark raving mad. Or, if I'm going to be doing lots of surveillance, I'll try to pick up or pillage some electronics.
I don't know how the bonuses work I just know that more weapons=more boarding power.
Edit: I've got to start proofreading some of my posts before posting, they're almost incomprehensible sometimes.

Actually, right now I'm wishing to know if Andrew and Trese have picked up some help along the way? Any new people added to your staff to help with the workload? What new directions are your thoughts taking you? What's the next step in your quest for self improvement and development? What future games are you considering? Where do you see your ideas taking the both of you in the next few years? Simple questions (shifty eyes) rabid

rabidbite - still just Cory and I, still trying to make it! No staff additions, just lots of 80+ hour weeks right now. But we both love what we are doing, so that helps! We are looking at games in the Star Traders Quadrant for our next!
