I am guessing at that list -- they are phones with the GPU problems. Sadly it effects everyone from Unity to LibGDX Most online advice suggests that we filter the devices in Developer Console but I'd like to avoid that, if possible. I agree that the manufacturer is very unlikely to issue a firmware fix for the driver. I'm going to keep looking for a work around that runs on these chips and doesn't hurt anyone else's performance. I will keep working on it and post updates as they are available.

I have the same issue as rainman on my samsung galaxy ace. Only a couple of the first letters show up in dialogue but occasionally the odd sentence will actually appear fully.

Yep, it has to do with a device bug, which we can't expect Samsung to fix. We are still working on this bug, but I will be frank - its not promising on this range of devices.

If it can be done, you'll figure how. Much confidence! If not, just another(big) reason to fork out for a new phone Don't sweat it. Focus on the big picture. You've got something with immense potential here. We're all with ya

Same text cut-off problem on HTC Wildfire S. Also no icons displayed. IE. Skills icon, though the skill or inventory panels pop up, if the zone where the icon should be, is tapped.
Very jerky, but I guess that's the phones lower cpu power.
Thank you. : )

The icons appeared once in-game. Looks like it's something to do with the game failing to load properly. Exceptionally long load times.
Could also be, your fonts are not correctly loading?
Thanks again.

@cig - Heroes of Steel is definitely going to test a phone like the HTC Wildfire pretty heavily. The issues you are reporting sound like memory limits and like the fonting issue, stuff starts disappearing.

We are working on improving the list of devices we support.
We will fix as many issues as we can and manage any outstanding devices in Google Play.
Regarding the HTC Wildfire S -- do you feel that the game is not playable as it is today?

Regarding the HTC Wildfire S -- do you feel that the game is not playable as it is today? It is definately a struggle to play. The Wildfire S has more memory than the Galaxy Ace, but the Ace has more CPU power, as far as I remember. I've removed the app at present, because I think it's presently too ambitious for my phone. Probably an option to turn off character animation would help. I have Startrader Elite. That more than playable. Tempted to get Cybernights. : ) Thank you for your replies.

I also would like an option to turn off animated movement and sped up movement similar to CK.

Swami - not something we are going to be able to do. Cory and I are working on our solutions for some of the movement speed within the game. @cig - thanks for the extra details! And thanks for your support and for understanding, our future games will all be Heroes caliber or higher.

@ Fallen.
Is BlueStacks a legit program? If yes. Whats to stop me running your apps on a PC, with more than enough power?

@ Fallen. Is BlueStacks a legit program? If yes. Whats to stop me running your apps on a PC, with more than enough power? : ) BlueStacks and other Android emulators struggle to provide sufficiently performance ARM emulation with GPU support. If you do end up forcing the games to run in BlueStacks, please don't post a review about the sub-par experience We're going to release a real PC version as soon as we can.
