Didn't really think of this until just now, but.... When we rest before leveling up we always get a "A brief rest" message with a nice little animated fire. After leveling up though, I never see it again! I only get brought to the level up screen with +0 in every box. Maybe there is a trigger that could be added to say "If skill points = 0 then give us resting message." It seems a shame for you guys to add in that message only to see it on your first rest or two, and then never again.

johndramey - those are normal camp sites where you can't spend advantage points. In the real game, only the rare campsite will allow you to level, and there will be story and dialog about that. Most campsites will be a brief rest and the fire. If you want to spend advantage points, get back to town!

Hmmm, actually i think you should be able to level up at all firepits, because you've earned the XP - it's only fair that you can take advantage of the fact you've built up your XP enough to boost your stats a little. you don't have to fly your ship back to a faction capital world in order to level up in ST after all.

However, the game will include a different type of decisioning challenge for the player if the firepits offer variable functionality in terms of refresh.
I can see the argument for 'level up anywhere' and the rich set of content authoring components that a limited leveling system provide.
It is a trade off and I think that the archtypical fantasy game makes the trade off and ties it to an Inn or special leveling place (Adventurer's Guild)

Also, I can see that living only in a dungeon in P1 might have helped form that opinion
