I'm getting very bad stuttering on my Asus TF300 10" with a Tegra 2 while the map and characters are moving. Any idea why?
However the game works flawlessly on my Asus Memo Pad HD7 which luckily is the one I use the most.

same resolution so, in theory, the should run the same speed.
might be a chipset or GPU issue.
Heroes of Steel is a bit demanding, but nothing a Tegra 2 should struggle with.
I'll do some research and talk to the GPU team.

I'd suggest the usual Android performance run down: 1. make sure you're not running live wallpaper 2. uninstall bad applications 3. reboot it a few times 4. is your drive more than 50% full? 5. update to 4.4 android os

It's really weird. The first camera movement in fluid, then it slows down and stutters a lot. Unfortunately Asus has not released 4.4 for their devices yet... Anyway I'll keep playing on my HD7 since on the TF300T the screen is kinda stretched so I see the pixels of the map drawings.

If there is a way you can send me a 'device info' or a 'logcat' that would be super. I can try to diagnose it -- this is new ground from a performance standpoint. Maybe we can help the engine team with some bugs

Do you know how I can do that? Is there an app for that?

Just wanted to inform you that even with all the updates you guys did, the camera and movements are still very choppy. Good thing if I'm the only one with that problem on this tablet tho...
Not a big deal since I use my HD7 for playing.

I've been trying to get a TF300T.
We have been working with the Cocosd2-x team, apparently we are not the only one running into these hardware bugs.
Hopefully someone, Cocos2d-x or Unity team, figures out a work around.

VincentD - if we get one it will probably be off Swappa so that we could keep it long-term and troubleshoot future issues on it. Thanks for the generous offer!

Bump. Cory? Are you there? If you're device is on the list for Heroes of Steel, you might try it again with 2.1.39 - major performance improvements.
