Green sectors have navigation beacons and Void accelerators -- a clever Captain, with a good ship and a happy crew, can spend almost no fuel and glide through Faction space (with a few Patrols, now and then)

Huh, I always manage to piss off every faction. I also aggravate my crew, which is why I now travel alone. Somehow my first alien encounter was my ship with a 1/40 crew against a 200/200 alien crew on hard and I won with boarding. Being lonely takes off time for talking and more time to train( I was a level 6).
