I started playing Age of Pirates over the weekend with the free version, bought the Elite minutes ago. I have been playing Star Traders Elite before that, few threads in that forum as well.
My Device: Samsung Galaxy S4 . Android 4.4.2.
Few suggestions:
- For the bounty hunting missions, I honestly cannot remember whether it was a capture or kill mission when I am done with the fighting. So I am not sure whether I should Leave or Burn the ship. In Star Traders you get the proper button highlighted. Can we get the proper button highlighted in Age of Pirates as well?
- For the main sailing map where you can just touch somewhere and hit the play button. Can we make the anchor symbol a little bit darker? I have trouble seeing that tiny symbol the way it is.
Same tactics here as in Star Traders, close quickly and board with a numerical superior crew count. I have changed few ships using that using the default start.

After I loot the ship ('take all') I get the proper button highlighted for 'Leave ship' or 'Burn Ship'. This isn't happening for you? Or do you always use 'cargo' to load things into your boat by hand? Because after 'cargo' I don't see the highlighting, either.

I am talking about when I am on the bounty hunting missions. Capture the enemy captain or Execute the enemy captain. In Star Traders, you have the proper 'Leave ship' or 'Burn Ship' equivalent button highlighted when you are doing a Contract (Commission in Age of Pirates). I imagine in Age of Pirates: Burn = Destroy. Leave = Capture. If I am on a bounty hunting mission I like to get the money + reputation after I finish the enemy ship up.

I am getting this on these missions, just right after I press 'take all' not before. Either the 'burn ship' or the 'leave ship' button is highlighted. Not happening for you?

I tested this in great details when I commute to work this morning on the subway. I usually play Age of Pirates or Star Traders during the 30 mins or more I spend on the commuter train each way. Environment is not ideal and I cannot spare as much attention as some other players. Here are my steps to replicate the issue: 1. I have a commission to kill an enemy captain and destroy his ship. 2. I fight the captain and went straight in for boarding since I have superior crew count. 3. I won the boarding. 4. Both Burn and Leave are not highlighted when I get into the post combat screen. 5. I tap "Take Crew". 6. Now the "Burn Ship" button is highlighted.7. Next I tap the "Cargo" button and transfer over some food etc. Not "Take all cargo", I don't like that since I don't have room for all anyway. 8. Back to the main post combat screen, the "Burn Ship" button is no longer highlighted.9. If I wasn't paying attention earlier, I would have forgotten which button was highlighted.

Thanks for the great detail! I have added #AOP-2417 so that we can resolve this one. The button should always be highlighted, regardless of your other actions in looting, conscripting, etc.

If you press 'take cargo' -- not 'take crew', you will also get the correct highlight. But as soon as you press the 'cargo' button -- for instance if you were not happy with what was loaded automatically, the highlight goes away.

The button should always be highlighted, regardless of your other actions in looting, conscripting, etc. No problem. Being a Senior .NET Developer (14 yrs) in my day job, I understand the importance of detailed and explicit steps to replicate an issue.
