I'm gonna start tonight - I left my alpha code at home somewhere and obviously need to use it to keep myself alive ... I haven't played ST4x since the game became public, so I've got a bit of catch up to do

I get it now! We're not all playing a game each based on communal decision making ... we're playing YOUR game and voting on the moves you make!!! Silly Cat! I think though that now that I have had this revelation and understand what is going on, all of us who are playing by committee should be allocated to a Clan!!! This way, we act in the interest of our clan, and don't think of the whole collective. It'll add some good dynamics where two factions want to do something ... could start some Forum faction wars! For the record, I refuse to be part of Steel Song clan ...

haha, slayernz, no worries. I was a little lax in my explaining things in this thread. I was posting from my phone and I hate typing a lot on it. Your idea is actually really cool, and if we get enough people involved (well, at least 3) then we can work try it out. For now, I think just a pure democracy works best. Enough people get involved and we can do a representative democracy where people in the houses all vote separately and then each house is tallied individually. Could be cool!

But that's the point - in ST4x, we're still dealing with separate factions and factions have faction wars even with death at their doorstep (Humans can be stoopid like that).
Yes, we'll all work together to help decide the course of the game (Play By Committee and all), but there will be times we disagree, and having us disagree because of factional lines will make a nice twist to the game.
Think of this as you are the leader of GovtCentral, trying to keep us faction heads in line. We'll listen to your choices, and pick what helps our own faction out the best.

Do you think we have enough people that will take roles in each respective house? Let's move over to the thread and ask
