Oh snap. I just watched this movie. Did it make any damn sense? 3/4 of a plot line and a big fuss over a kaiju.. Then all of a sudden there's another, a Godzilla and they fight. End of story.
Mucho points for destruction, though. I love movies with massive catastrophic events.

Or, the military can go the route that the previous movie did and we can hire an earthworm scientist to find a weakness to a giant lizard monster.

Its a cute cat, but I think it hates the costume. There is a reason for that; it's a cat. Oh and of course an atomic bomb would destroy a giant lizard... regenerative powers or not. Regarding Godzilla, wasn't there originally political symbolism in the original movie. Not only was Godzilla awakened by the bomb, he was a metaphor for the atomic bomb and the horrors it represented.
