Is there any way you can make it so we can choose our starting officer(s) at the start of a new game?

It will let you build custom characters in ST RPG, specifying the exact starting attributes, officers, etc.
At this point it is a work in progress and not even at the functional prototype stage so I cannot say much about when it will be available or what the final set of features will be like.
Picking attributes, skills, profession, starting location, starting officers, buying starting cargo, reputation, etc.

That would be a really nice addition to Star Traders and give your Captain creation even more of a personal touch. I'll keep me fingers crossed that we'll see it.

Cant wait to see truly customizable starting Captain/officers for both ST and ST2. I'm a lifelong RPG addict and the more personalized I can make characters the happier I am.  |
