Andrew, Martin and I are working on a "Steam Curator" list to include our games, and other great indie titles.
I added KEL: Repear of Entropy today -- one, because it's an awesome (if a bit rough) early access game and two, because the woman who does the development (Ana Morgan) is great.
I would LOVE to hear your feedback -- what's on your "steam indie game must have" list?
Bonus points if the developers are awesome and the teams are small. =)

I love Ben There, Dan That. And the other point n click buy the same guys. Great games - especially as they were done in a point n click game creator! They're really funny, both of them, but the second one is better

I'm not sure if it counts as indie anymore but I love Torchlight I. I like it better than II actually Its just a straight up dungeon crawler where you keep going deeper and deeper. Great art, ridiculously fun, but the small company that made it has been acquired by perfect world games now

I was going to say Starsector, but I checked and it's not on Steam. It's started REALLY "fleshing out", now though. Worth a look Cory Trese, if you've not seen it recently. A bit like X games in 2D, and MoO/Startrader.
