Wouldn't worry too much, NOBODY expects the inquisition.

I know most of the Python skits (Even some of Cleeses other work, such as Fawlty Towers) but can't recall that one. But: They were right. The 4 points fit.

Ok, three days have gone by and I've taken the previous names off and added a new one. A big thanks to everyone that helped give a karma boost to those already. The new person on the list needs all the good luck, karma, etc, so he can get his book out for us to buy

I've just figured out the Karma time limitation (one exalt/smite every 15 minutes) is checked only on the frontend side. It's very easy to bypass this limitation and write a simple script boosting someone's karma to any value in short time. However in my opinion such trick would make Karma useless. It's likely other people will also discover this "feature", so I suggest we shouldn't exploit it.
Silly proboards coders...

I wish we had known about this when the new proboards happened, because then we could let people import the old karma they had under the old proboards. As it was, everybody was reset to 0. I suppose I should just have tried to break things on general principles and found out what happened ...

The karma thing is an additional on top of ProBoards v5. Going from ProBoards v4 to v5 complete removed Karma from the system. We installed a plugin later to create a pseudo-Karma system that we have now.

AFAIK that's not it; at least *I* don't have a karma tab to the right of my "gift" tab on my profile.
