Crimson - sorry, here is quick explanation: Dry Dock requires Rank with the Faction. Once you have Rank you can use Dry Dock. When you purchase a ship you can Trade In Current Ship or Purchase New Ship. If you Purchase New it goes into the Dry Dock on that planet. Then, inside the Military Base you can use Dry Dock to switch ships. You can install different upgrades and have different cargo on each ship in Dry Dock. fallen Thanks for the clarification I think i have not been playing the game wisely. This is something that may bring advantage over time. Is this limitation per port? I.e. thousamds of possibility for ships? Also would be nice to set up ship routes that devolop as we play. With a low random chance for mutiny or deadly accidents for the ai controlled portion. Would be a Good return on investment with risk. Even so having the specialized ships at will is still nice.

Are you talking about the threads getting out of order on the board because someone posts a comment on an older update? I wouldn't want to see them locked in terms of not being able to comment on a thread, but if there was a way to lock the order on the board I can see that as being helpful. contributor, (cc: fallen ) I think this sums it exactly. For me it was a little hard to follow. But its as you say. And not wanting change the open atmosphere. It is tefreshingly nice. Thanks, Crimson

Crimson - you'd like us to lock all previous update threads? There are conversations going on in those threads, often about something random or something update specific ... fallenIts up to you but its strange to have the latest response in a version release 10 versions ago. Maybe a chat/ sounding board area may be appropriate. I also realize my bug report should have been in the bugs folder.

Crimson - yes, you can dry dock up to 20 ships in Elite, and a smaller number in free! Check the rules about this one. Ok sorry for being lost... what rules. I went through all of the game help files.... Nothing in them. Also scanned the board and nothing like rules jumped out at me. Thanks, Crimson

This is more for the board. But if its possible can the older version threads be locked so the newest version for st updates is active only. Gets confusing with multiple threads of versiond getting new messages in each. This is in reference to the ST update section...
