I like to have my Overwatch Neptunes use it as a back up, they don't specialize with it but it can be pretty useful for just curb stomping a bunch of Xenos so they can't overwhelm your dudes

Can't wait to see how it all plays out, I've only gotten to the CoD once before I got pulled away by other stuff.
I'm running a two handed spear lore based Vraes with Vincent,Fyona and Tamilin. Things are going well, Vraes hits like a runaway ice cream truck and is about as tough haha

Its been a good while since i played but coming back to Heroes of Steel has been really fun. The world is still cool, I like the characters and there's so many options for leveling.
It's fun seeing stuff I remember as well, like Vraes tanking a whole room of Ratkin,Fyona buffing and healing the whole team while smacking stuff in the face...oh and remembering how much I hated those damn beetles, that's fun too.
Still having fun just....ugh damn bugs. XD

I'd say attack the Sidtax asap, they're the closest so it'll be easier to manage. Maybe have 2 faction navy's work together while the third takes a defensive position in case of opportunistic Nyctos?
Also I'd wait before decommissioning ships, might prove more useful to simply...not replace ships lost in the coming battle.

I would recommend we save around 7000 credits, give us some breathing room when the economy isn't so friendly.
Also Templar Command may want to scout out those asteroid fields, we may find spots where we could station a few scout ships to get an early warning.

I would also like to show interest in yanolactr...the furthest south red star system, it's further away then would be ideal but it may prove useful and if nothing else will make a good staging point.
But for the love of Shalun, it needs a new name if we're gonna make any use of it.

Is there a way to influence the rate our Prime Worlds get more population? Cause in my current game, Cadar Prime has shot past both of the other factions while Javat Prime is still down at 4 pop.
Is it just random or am I m8ssing something?

I think we should claim Sharnisac, it's 2 red stars will serve us well and if no one else wants it we'll take the 1 white star between our colony and Sharnisac as well.
Our fleet may have been nearly wiped out but they served us well, one of our mines on Javat Prime shall be renamed in their honor.

If we can hold our colony in the toward cluster we can use it for a lure to draw the Xenos, keeping the occupied and away from the core. With ntsheep agreement, I'd say let our fledgling fleet try and hold it, any help from the Cadar and Mok would of course be welcome and appreciated

At this point, I'd say ignore the clusters and focus on trying to hold back the Xenos coming in from the north. If we can, use our current ships to stall them until we can put out some new ships.

They look acceptable, nothing fancy but they'll do. I'd recommend more fighters then assaults, something like a squad of fighters led by a heavier assault can work pretty well.
Also it may not be useful atm but when we get the opportunity I'd like to suggest a low armor, cheap cruiser built around the biggest torpedoes they can hold. We can set them up as make shift planetary defence weapons and use them to guard forward planets.
