In the very beginning of the game, Tamilin always wants to rescue Vraes from the prison cell, no matter whether she has done that before or not. Screen shot:  |

Would make things easier  I can reproduce the error. It occurs, when an experienced player tries to rescue all group members as fast as possible from the prison cells. After opening all cell doors I immediately group with Tamilin in the lead. After reaching the chair the script kicks in, ungrouping the party and Tamilin walks back as seen in the screen shot. To solve the situation I simply let Tamilin enter and leave the prison cell. |

I've seen this before, too, and just now was able to reproduce it.
I was using the 4 original characters on Normal difficulty.
1) I started the game with watching the intro, but pressed the "Skip" button in the upper-right to skip through it and all subsequent dialogue.
2) Once dialogue has finished, used Tami to unlock her own cell.
3) Unlocked Kyera's cell and stepped into doorway of that cell, triggering Kyera's dialogue
4) Unlocked KJ's cell and stepped into doorway of that cell, triggering his dialogue
5) Unlocked Vraes' cell and DID NOT step into the cell doorway. After unlocking Vraes' cell, immediately glom, so Tami is the party leader. Vraes will join up to the party from his position standing within his cell.
6) Walked towards the locked exit door and party automatically unglommed and Tami said something about having to free the Outlander and walked back into Vraes' cell.

Just confirmed that following the same procedure on Brutal with Kincaid in the party triggers the same behavior, so not just limited to Vraes and/or Normal difficulty. Going to check Selen next.

I just had this happen to me as well.
Group:
Kincaid
Kjartan
Kyera
Selen
To Reproduce:
unlock Selen’s cell
unlock Kjartan’s cell
- Kjartan’s dialog
unlock Kyera’s cell
- Kyera’s dialog
unlock Kincaid’s cell
Glom - click the 3-headed icon (group everyone into one)
head for the exit
Even though Kincaid is in the group, Selen says “I need to free the Dueler. Without his martial prowess, we aren't going to escape Red Hill”

At this point the user must return to Kincaid’s cell to trigger his dialog, only then can the group proceed through the door
The trick might be to trigger the dialog for each character on the unlock action for their cells... that way the dialog is forced before the user can glom

Nathan - there is a good deal of code that should trigger each story event for each character leaving the cell, but in some cases it still doesn't work. Thanks for the reproduction steps!
