I would like to see darting steel's min range removed. As is it is very awkward to use. If a target you want to hit with it is already in Kincaid's melee range you have to burn an extra 2ap 1 to step back, then you throw for 1-2ap, and then one to step forward again and strike and maintain tank position.

CdrPlatypus - yep, the request has been posted a few times before. Thanks for the feedback! We'll keep working on improving.

I'd like to see same restriction removed from Kyera's Ethereal Anguish. Or playing her in melee just doesn't work at all.

I don't have a problem with the restriction on etheral anguish and any curse with 6 range. I think of it as she needs a moment to say an incantation or something, I think that's fine. One of my issues is as a life long martial artist I know Shuriken / Throwing knives can be flicked off the wrist practically point blank or whipped out with the entire arm for a maximum range throw.

CdrPlatypus: Eternal Anguish uses lots of SP, especially when lvld up. Later in the game you will want to use it against large groups, bosses and other hard to kill monsters only. (You have other possibilities to deal with monsters and it will be difficult to restock supplies.) If you really want to use Eternal Anguish on a regular basis, just leave one spot empty on Kyera's back. Them you can move backward, cast it and move forward again.

Or cast it before charging into melee range. We will not be removing the range requirement on EA or other curses.

The only min range I was complaining about was darting steel...

fallen absolutely! Half the time I don't even level it up- it's so efficient at level one... I was just laughing about CdrPlatypus being told how best to use EA- considering he stomps on NM Ironman... Just had me chuckling, that's all

Seriously, EA is the bomb. I don't know why so many people whine about it being too expensive and not useful. In my opinion it's best at level 10. It's expensive, but it's the only curse you need.
