Soy based synthetic foods have been around for a while now, so what's your favorite type of "Soylent" Mine is Soylent Red, imitation bacon bits, it's fun to put them in ramen and watch them poof up from the soup. They almost become like real bacon.

Soylent white, I guess. I like tofu in my miso soup.

Soylent white, I guess. I like tofu in my miso soup. Soylent White + Red miso = Soylent Pink!

mataeus, I was looking for a picture with the quote "soylent green is people" but when I saw that picture of Charlton Heston, I was sold. Good movie by the way. Watched the last 2/3's of it recently and it holds up to the test of time. Kinda blew my mind to see Eward G Robinson--famous for his gangster roles in the Hollywood'es golden age--in a scifi flick. BTW, I like tofu, but haven't been a big fan of soy based synthetic foods. Might have to try that trick with bacon bits in Ramen. What brand do you prefer ntsheep?

Don't really have a favorite brand of bacon bits. Just get whatever cheap ones the store has. I've seen them grow five times in size from absorbing liquid. The taste stays about the same but the texture becomes soft and chewy.
