You can delete pay data from your computer in the Politics screen.
Shops won't buy data, it's too risky.

Huh, well that's useful to know. Maybe that should be clearer?

I like that data is "hot to handle" and risks the wrath of whoever it was stolen from. Shops are too static and therefore too vulnerable to risk pissing off Corps, Security outfits or Gangs by handling stolen data.

Pretty much a quote from the design document =) "Shops are too immobile to move data"

Yeah, that point being that no shop is a front for data purchases inside of NBZ because it would be a non-stop stream of Knights on death missions until the shop closed.
Case in point, no shops purchase pay data.

Case in point, no shops purchase pay data. Say... how about Data Terminals? They are static, arent they? I am thinking... if Cyber Knights would be lining up in a queue at the terminals to stick a wire up the back of their necks. ;D That would be a sight too. ;D CK1: Are you done? CK2: Hold on a minute... Aha! Just got 20MP of Paydata from Bravestar! CK3: Shaddap and get lost already! I have been camping here since last night!

Data Terminals will make a lot more sense once we turn off the placeholder system and engage the real one
