Well this is a "wish" list so i figured i would through in my own wishfull idea 
?
I think that one thing thtwould go good with this game is the option to have the other three faction (the ones you dont pick) enter the game as a seperate empire. Maybe they split with the templars and no longer respect your leadership, instead they attempt to make a go for it on their own. In game they would act as a seperate ai race, which you can try and have friendly relations with and fight the xenos with them, or relations run sour and you now have another enemy.
Maybe add condition for victory of either elliminating the other factions, or allyin with them and bringing them back into the fold
All that said i relise that this would represent a massive amount of work, and may not even be heading in the dirrection yall want, but then again what is a wish list for??
