So here I am, just 2 dungeons from completing HoS Ep 3 and I decide that it would be a good idea to grab a bit of R&R before assaulting the final tower. So to complete my collection I pick up CK and give it a go. Despite initial appearances it has got one key TB trait in spades, it is soooooo addictive! Darn you TB! HoS? So long Chummer, you're in the NBZ now!
Loving MNB, you've got it really polished now. You guys have done a proper job there. Anyway, got to go, Flynn needs a couple more jobs before I can go up....

Wait until you hit the city proper... The tunnels are just tiny breadcrumbs leading you to the freshly baked loaf above

I am loving the CK MnB Tutorial ... I still have no idea what I should really be doing (I'm almost purposefully treading on toes) because it's better to find out the consequences in a tutorial. I learned in ST, doing things randomly almost always led to rather painful death.

I learned in ST, doing things randomly almost always led to rather painful death. You're pretty safe down in the tunnels, but once you reach the city your rep will start to matter, so be careful not to tread on the toes of... The foot... That... Feeds you. When you reach the main city, you can continue the story you've started and follow it through to a conclusion, or you can split and work on your own. However, I strongly recommend staying with it for the unique dialogue - you can sandbox with a character any time

Finished my first run-through of MNB; it was pretty good fun! I got a bit lost in the middle and just wandered around grinding out XP because I missed the dialogue prompting you to speak to Luka and Max to move on to the next step. In hindsight, now that I know what happens I think I would deliberately avoid talking to them until I'm happy with my skills build since Eastwind Niner seems to have its own momentum. Eastwind Niner was very well scripted though and progressed without a hitch, though that was likely more luck than judgement on my part! Starting again now to try the alternate ending where Eliza becomes a runner. Thanks to everybody who has posted on the MNB thread, especially grävling, your insights and discussions certainly made the streets of the NBZ a lot more survivable for a rookie!
