This is the first and only phone app I have ever paid for and it was so worth every penny. Thanks for making such a great game!
My wish or maybe more of a question is, could you, or have you ever thought of, putting a version out on Xbox live arcade? I feel like it would fit perfectly in the independent developer game section and its better than most of the crap in there.
I know nothing about the difficulty in programming or the differences between an android application and an Xbox arcade game, but I would be one of the first to buy it and I think it would be a hit!

I really don't know much about the difficulty of programming an Xbox arcade game either.
I have a done of lot of C# and Microsoft development. I wish the Windows Phone was doing better and supported XBox Arcade runtime =)

Other than multiplayer ;D, I would love to see something where I can export/embed my character sheet/ship log, so I can show my friends what a wanted pirate I am on my phone-game.

Cory, it really shouldnt be hard at all. For xbox indie game, if i remember correctly, it costs about 99$ for the proper liscense and developers kit (and while it could be free, i support the hundred dollar price, to help keep out a billion half games with stick figures, and no gameplay if you have to pay for it, you will work on it seriously.) Again, im not sure about how the programming bit works out. Ive thought about signing up as well, and my game idea, was a lot like your games. Open ended, rpg-esque, with the only gameplay difference being instead of turn/grid based combat for the starship game, i would go for a twin stick shooter, draw in some of the non strategy crowd. Kind of like a 2d version of X: Beyond the Frontier. at any rate, back on subject. I would honestly suggest checking this out guys. You don't have to give up your ownership, and if i am not mistaken, you keep at least 70% of your earnings. im not sure how the control scheme, being set up for touch screens, can be transferred over to a gamepad, but i do it all the time using a controller wirelessly with the phone. One more thing to think about, is the apparent relative ease in porting games there. I stress APPARENT. I still dont know for sure. But it couldnt hurt to check out. A simple google search should locate the site. And if it gives you any hope, just know that i have seen a few games go from phone to downloadables/console. I havent been on xbla in a while, but they have a good dev community. Cant hurt to look, eh?
