There are lots of cell blocks filled with empty locked cells in dungeons throughout the Underdeep. On the way to fighting towards the Gatehouse comes to mind.
I thought it might be fun if a few of the cells actually contained prisoners. If the doors get unlocked the prisoners flee (disappear from screen), and triggers an ambush as guards come rushing in to prevent escape. Thought it might be fun to get extra XP for liberating prisoners. Similar to secret doors, you occasionally will find populated cell blocks.

One or more prisoners may even carry something that could be worthwhile for you ... something overlooked by the guards.

Now, that is highly unlikely. But a prisoner or two that appear when you unlock the cell, thank you and run away - that would surely bring a little more life into game.

A magical trinket or scroll could always be tucked away in a secret pocket when they're detained. Or a ring could even be swallowed to keep it secret for awhile. So just make sure you wash anything you get from a prisoner before you put it on.

Who's to say that it wasn't in the potty corner??

Three groups played from the prelude. No ring.

Past Thurgrim through the two locked doors into the cell in the back. Check in the Northwest corner by the webs.

I thoroughly scoured every inch of the underkeep. None

anrdaemon - I think you'll find the ring there if you go in. Just played through again to be sure and got it. It is in the dungeon cell behind Thurgrim, there are a number of dialogs as you work you way back in there. All the way in the farthest back corner, spiderweb. This is in the Prologue of the game only, you cannot get it when you are coming back to Red Hill later.

anrdaemon haven't been that way for a while but I think its a +8 SP ring. If I remember rightly the dialogue goes something like....... Tamilin (to Vraes) - Ooohhhh what's that thing you've just put on your finger? Vraes - It's only your magic ring dearest KJ - Well, I've been following Tamilin all morning and it doesn't look that special to me Kyera - !!♡♡☆!?

Yes, I saw the dialog posted on forums, but I've made a third group especially for this, and I've played it up to the exit from underkeep to the crossings, where Vraes pick on the Kjartan for the choice of the way to go, and no ring. And yes, I've cleaned up everything down there and stood on every tile that I could have stepped onto. I'll try it again, but I have low hope for now.

anrdaemon - ok, that's very strange. Just tested again and got the Ring. Let us know if you can provide more information or a screenshot.

Double tested on 3 devices, all Androids are giving the Ring. Maybe screenshots would help, or the specifics of the device maybe we can borrow on to test with.
