I know it's most likely not gonna happen but it would be cool to hire him for a runner. If not a runner maybe a temporary companion to help on an operation for or against Mars?

You know, he looks kind of old. What is the life expectancy in the NBZ? I'm guessing its not very long for most knights or runners. I figured it was something like fallout but with more government?

Mallor is on the older side, and very scared from his time working for Mars.
Life expectancy is massively different between Knights, those living on the streets, and those living under a mega-corp.

I get it. A knight on the street is just a hard target, while a knight working for a Corp is useful enough to be looked after(and watched).

Sorry, I was trying to say "between a Knight, those people who live streets, and those Citizens of the mega-corporations." A corp never really trusts a Knight.

Sure they won't trust you but if your useful it'd make sense they'd want to look after you. For exemple...Bobba Fet in star wars, the empire doesn't trust him but they keep him around cause he's useful.

By the way, how do you say his name?

I say "Mal-or". The first part sounds like like mallard the duck, and then "or"

Haha ... that's how I'd say it too. I'd have only thought to question it because of your funny pronunciation of Rychart, Cadar, Thulun, and Javat ... Oh and you don't pronounce "Steel Song" as "Canon Fodder" either, which I think you need to correct in future.

Ri-shart Ja-vat (like Java, but with a T on the end and the syllable break as shown) The-loon Ca-dar (Ca like the start of Car, Dar as in darling
Evidently, I am terrible with how to express pronunciation.

I'm a Cadar = Ca (rhymes with Pay), and Dar (rhymes with Car) Rychart = Ry (rhymes with Pi), then Chart as in Chart Thulun = Thu (rhymes with Foo), Lun, rhymes with Bun Devaltos = De (rhymes with bee), then VAL tos where tos (rhymes with boss) Javat = Ja (rhymes with Car), Vat (rhymes with cat) <grin> Steel Song = Tar (rhymes with car), Get (rhymes with Pet).

We still need to know if the accent is on the first or second syllable -- or if they are equally stressed. For the future ... never say ...x like the start of something-x-r as the world varies enormously on how vowels before an r are pronounced. Do you pronounce 'car' and 'cat' and 'caw' the same way? Some people do. So I do not know whether you pronounce Cadar with the 'ca' as more like the ca in 'Cathy' or more like the start of 'Cause'. I had a pronounciation guide for a foreign language that told me to pronounce a whole lot of things as 'a as in father'. What I didn't know what that the author of the guide speaks a dialect of English where 'father' and 'rather' rhyme, where as I have 'father' and 'bother' doing so. Oh the problems I had ... Grävling
