If things would have worked out the way she wanted, where would she have gone? The NBZ is surrounded by a wasteland that's infested with raiders, mutants and nanoslag. Are there any cities nearby? If not, well she had a hard time in Streets territory I don't think they'd last long wandering the wastes.

@hissard - her plan was to simply get out of the NBZ. She had a way out, most likely she would have end up in the great transport tunnels beneath the surface heading west. One of the main ways of transport across the waste are immense underground transport lines, and near cities there are thousands of unfortunates living in the bowels of these spaces.
It doesn't sound like a good life, but it is freedom from the mega-corp.

Wow, quick response! How hostile are the wastes? Can people survive out there? I know the Los V seem desperate to get in so I doubt it.

hissrad - the wastes on the surface are full of nano-pollution. You can survive out there, but it is a terrible way to live. Living below the surface in the transport tunnels is extremely dangerous and life expectancy is very low, but its better than the surface. There are shanty towns and thousands living in abject poverty there.

Its cool to hear more about the larger world, you know? Now here's the big question: Is the Blue Ox really just a gang? For some reason there seems to be something...off about them.

They are a rough n tumble paramilitary group - the hardest gang on the streets by their count.
But I agree, something just isn't right with them.

I mean the other gangs only have each other and the occasional bravestar or knight horizon raid to deal with. Blue Ox? Well they are surrounded by Corps on three sides and the toxic water/sludge to the north, and they are holding out.

There hv also been rumors of submarines and trans-oceanic travel/trade/communication... at least thats what i infer from the MnB storyline... but the matrix is a strange place chumma ya' neva know if u findin da truth or corporate lies designed to send u in circles chasing ur hund's tail for no better reason than having emptied 6 bottles of vudka b4 breakfast

I just finished the MnB campaign - and pretty much knew I was going to help the duo out. What I would really really have loved to have done was to have the option to give her some of my money. Yes I know, as a knight, I'm meant to be focused on myself. However, I'm a sucker for helping out others. I was grateful for the paydata, but at the time I was doing this operation, I had about Y120k. I would have actually given them Y60 without thinking about it. It would have made their chances at survival beyond the NBZ just that little bit better. fallen, any remote chance that you could add this to the options - it'd make me feel better Oh oh oh ... forgot to add ... I LOVED the end of this story line. I think it had a lot of really cool aspects to it, and it leaves you open to have a sequel chapter, where you start hunting down the dreks that did what they did to you pre-knight.

slayernz - glad you enjoyed the story, it was a very fun Operation to build. I have taken some notes about adding the bonus option to give them a pile of Credits as well, and maybe will be able to add that to the story at a later date! Will you play again to try one of the other two options?

fallen, hell yeah! I'm going to go through again with a different class and try different options. I played with a gunslinger, and ended up using two different gun types so missed a little of the benefit of being a gunslinger I didn't know there were two other options though - I thought the only other option was to give the mother and daughter up. I'll find out soon ... sooooooooooo good!

Oooooooo ... I've already started a new character. Ended up going back to the Gunslinger as the other options don't suit my playing style as much.
