Enjoy the game, menus are bit convoluted but after jumping around a bit I can remember where they are. (I play on IOS, specifically iPhone 6 Plus with the newest update and this has always been an issue.) My only problem is that text displays are often cut off. You can see a few examples below, look specifically at the end of the text boxes:    This is very...annoying to me. I'd be fine if it was just scrollable text, but it is really throwing me off. There have been situations where I would have preferred to have the information missing due to the cut-off as well. Please try to fix this! THanks. |

I have this issue too, except with iPod 4th gen so i think its even worse due to smaller screen. Luckily the game is still playable  |

Heh, I was just registering to post about this. I don't think the issue is exactly the length of the text. For instance, looking at Armament Upgrades, I see under ARES Class Missile Control: "Replaces the ship's Torpedo system with one containing a maximum of 16 torpedos. Reduces the availability of." That's two lines of text, but there's enough space for at least three or four more lines before the next entry in the list. So I think something's making the text rendering area too small.
(Picked the game up last night, playing around, already got a syndicate furious with me by failing to notice a trade embargo, whoops.)

@seebs - thanks for the extra details. What device are you on? iPad (retina mini). Game's still fun, but I definitely have a harder time figuring some things out because of missing descriptions. Also I'm just not that good at it yet. (I can't tell whether it's a bug or a feature that, if I buy everything they have of something a place has a surplus of, I can immediately sell it back for a large profit.) |
