Since I couldn't find ANY info about ships in this game I've decided to take screenshot of everyone I encounter. So here is the link for an archive with in-game stats of the ships I've found: yadi.sk/d/spiCpeGsfGt3TIt is organized in a "[Ship class] [Ship type]" so it would be easy to search. I think the list is completed now, these are all there is for now.

odorobo - you can def upload them to another photo service and then link them here. May i ask you something? If the player is unable to encounter some ships (or features) unless he plays on high difficulty? Like over the "hard" lvl for example? Also explain please what "promotion" exactly does. I can't figure it out except that some country starts to respect you more. Or that's it?

odorobo - the difficulty of Captains and their ship types is driven by difficulty, so yes -- you'll see different ship builds in higher difficulties.

Ships are all very different, depends hugely on what you are doing. Merchant, pirate?

odorobo - I don't think its required, no. Get your level high enough and you'll face Captains with higher levels and better ships.

fallen - I understand now, thanks for your answers. Well then, how about promotions? Do they only set player's importance to a nation or there is something more to it?

Great question - I've added this to our list to add this type of information to our game manual. Promotions increase your rank, which helps with lots of things like commissions, prices at the market, how you are treated on the waters of the seas, etc.

fallen - thank you for explaining this to me, it has been bugging me for a long time. Actually there is another question i just remembered - about magic. By reading this startradersrpg.proboards.com/thread/8025/question-magic I thought of it as a part of the story but a Crew Upgrade - Luxury Cabins states that these cabins are "suitable for a noble or a rare magic user". Is that a spoiler to something or right now magic in game is only implemented in healing?

odorobo - magic is used by all the Nations. They are in a state of an early industrial revolution, which is being powered by magic (not technology). Magic to heat the forges, magic to drive mining and replenish the earth. Nathaniel Sveet wants magic to heal his son, but it has many uses, and the nations are tightly controlling its use and forging forward into this new age. Sea travel for a mage or mystic is very rare, and they are generally distrusted by sailors. The magic used by the nations is land-based magic - of wood, fire, stone. Only the Sea Witches are wielding the salty magics of the ocean.

odorobo - magic stays on land, unless its in a story like Sveet's. A mage might be a passenger you take across the ocean, but there is no intention to add magic as an active game play element.
